Nation: Nation urges New Yorkers to reconsider their late nights downtown by revamping the local lounge scene with a brick-walled-and-mirrored ambiance that is more bohemian than corporate chic, even with the big-screen TVs tuned to the latest sports. The downstairs bar may be the first stop, but leave the softly lit area for the more happening mezzanine. Just off the balcony area, with its wood chairs and tables, you’ll pass groups of people just hanging out, huddling around the popular fireplace located in the lounge area. If you’re settled in and looking for some bar food, the tasty fare follows the eclectic theme: oozy Mexican four cheese quesadillas, tangy Greek salad, crispy calamari, and Buffalo wings.
