Montenapo: The newest venture, from Managing Partner, Joseph Juck, and the owners of HK Hotels and Hospitality, takes its name from the most important street in Milan's fashion district, Via Montenapoleone, but the restaurant is most definitely in NYC--in the NY Times Building, to be exact. The 200 seat restaurant and bar faces a glass enclosed garden complete with 50-foot-tall birch trees. Expect classic Italian fare based on fresh seasonal organic ingredients created by Chef German Lucarelli.
The restaurant boasts a “Chef’s Table” for parties of eight to twelve. Those fortunate enough to make a reservation for that table will receive a customized menu as well as visits from the Chef to share culinary insights.
The restaurant also boats an extensive wine list, designed with only Italian wines.
