Molly's Pub & Restaurant: Molly’s has been a neighborhood staple for over 70 years and it’s not going anywhere soon. The Guinness is poured lovingly, the burgers are plump and fattening, and with the exception of the steak, all entrées all under $10. Molly’s skirts the line between run-down and cozy, but the fireplace creates a mood of warmth and intimacy. These sawdust-covered floors see as many shoes in the afternoon as they do at night, so don’t feel bad about coming by for a lunchtime pint or two, or three or four if your boss is out sick. There are a lot of “I Wish” bars in this fratty neighborhood, but Molly’s is as genuinely Irish as a drunken poet. |
