Mixx Lounge: Everything about Mixx lounge is geared to the 24- to 35-year-old after-work bar-hopping crowd who ap-preciate house specialty drinks and martinis described as “Lip-Smacking,” “Pink Pussy,” “Volcano,” and “That’s Me.” When you’re paying rent in New York City, there is nothing more appealing than a 2-for-1 happy hour from 5pm to 8pm every weekday, and a free buffet spread to go with it. Located right on Seventh Avenue South, this bar gets everyone who wanders into town off the subway and PATH trains, not that that’s a bad thing. Proximity to transportation can be a very good thing after a few Volcanoes. DJS play seven nights a week here, which really adds to the cool Mixx. |
