Minetta Tavern:
It's baaaack. The beloved Minetta Tavern reopened in early March with Keith McNally at the helm. The updated kitchen is serving up roasted marrow bones and Pat LaFrieda's infamous Black Label burger. Old schoolers, don't fret—despite McNallification, the decor remains the same (minus the cobwebs).
I have been a loyal customer for the last 15 years- both lunch & dinner. Now, with a new owner no consideration is taken for this and I cannot dine at this newly hyped-up restaurant. By the way-it's not Italian but rather French now. I wonder if I will be welcome after the hype dies down and they become a bit slower. They say a few tables have been set aside for the loyal customers but that they will fill right away so no guarantees so I should continually pop in to see if I can be squeezed in...yeah, right. I'm very upset that nothing can be done but that's life. Me and my local friends will surely boycott this joint.

Wonderful
I have always loved this place and can't wait for the grand reopening. I have high hopes and plan to continue enjoying this place for years to come.
