Michael Jordan's Steak House: Named after celebrated weatherman Michael Jordan…okay, we all know who this guy is, but his steakhouse isn’t the cheesy TGI Jordan’s you might expect. The blue-suited, after-work crowd comes here for NBA-sized steaks before catching a train back to the ’burbs, and this cool view over Grand Central is worthwhile. You’re not going to dine here on a rookie’s salary, but the wine list, which starts at $35 per bottle, is a free throw you just can’t miss. And, of course, there’s beer. Run like a well-executed pick-and-roll, this 7,000-square-foot venue is an excellent spot for any occasion and it’s a hop, skip, and a jump shot away from trains and subways that go everywhere. |
