Metro Marche: Using Port Authority in the same sentence as brasserie can often induce dirty looks and utter disbelief. Metro Marche, on the other hand, is on a mission to prove that a French menu and upscale drinks can save one from the kryptonic fluorescence that is Port Authority. Apart from the delicious steak frites and pan-crisped skate, Metro also happens to offer delicious cocktails (try the whiskey-heavy Metro Sazerac) and a happy hour straight from the railroad gods - from 3pm-7pm one can grab 2-for-1 beers and take them to-go for a no-longer-boring ride home (if you’re not commuting home they also offer deals on wine and the cocktail of the day).
