McCormack's: Some people travel to Ireland for shepherd’s pie; others go to the local Irish pub. And while there are more than a few to choose from in Murray Hill, McCormack’s hosts a wide variety of locals who just can’t get enough of the stuff. Tiffany lamps, wood paneling, and exposed brick walls decorate the place, while foot-ball and rugby matches dominate the nine TVs scattered about. It’s not all crochety old regulars, though—happy hour boasts a crowd of hip lads and lasses dying for pints of Guinness served up by friendly bartenders and—perhaps the true pot of gold at the end of the rainbow—complimentary wings. |
