Marquee: Marquee has been called the Studio 54 of the ’00s, and while Studio 54 may never happen again, this big three-room party is a sight to behold. A bright, Vegas-like entrance leads to one big room where booths and standing room are at a premium. The back of the space is divided into two rooms: the lower-level red room, which shares a DJ with the main space, and the upstairs ash-toned space which often dances to its own beat. (It’s usually an alternating evening of rock and hip-hop playing in one space, with house and hip-hop blaring in the other.) Every celeb in town has partied here and the space is occasionally closed for private events, including Playboy parties, supermodel birthdays, and the like. (We’re only acting like we’re not impressed.)
