Maroon’s: CLOSED. There’s a lot of spunk at this Southern/Jamaican hybrid. Chill at Maroon’s with a Maroon’s Madness ($10) or let the live jazz help digest your brunch on Sundays. Either way, they aim to be comfortable here. Reservations are helpful at this eat-first, drink-later joint, but the bar crowd is loyal, drawn to cocktails that range between $10 and $15. The menu pulls from the South and Caribbean, with two-ounce fried crab cakes to start, a spring herb salad with champagne vinaigrette, and Cujo’s Jerk Chicken with macaroni and cheese and collard greens for a solid, belly-filling finish.
