Malachy's: This tried-and-true Irish dive is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for many. Old-timers take up resi-dence along the bar, but there are a few tables in the back and along the wall for groups to throw back a few and peek at “SportsCenter” on any one of the eight hanging TVs. Malachy’s gets pretty crowded after work cuts out, which can be a good thing or not, depending on how blue your collar is. There’s nothing spectacular about this haunt, but the “Three Stooges” posters above the bar remind us to never take anything too seriously when drinking. |
