Maker's: The bar’s named Maker’s and it isn’t in fact a whiskey bar? Shocking. But never fear—there are plenty of drinks to be had at this joint in Murray Hill. With four drafts, 13 bottled beers, and everything from well to top-shelf liquor, your chances of drunk-dialing your ex are still looking pretty good. Chances are you’ll lose track of time—and the amount of drinks you’ve consumed—in the dim space. The bar definitely caters to hardcore drinkers, with happy hour from 5pm-8pm Monday through Saturday and an all-day happy hour every Sunday (and on the seventh day, God had a Bud). Men can throw back a $3 domestic beer and shoot a game of pool with their buddies, while ladies can gossip over $5 wine and $6 margaritas. No whiskey required. |
