Luxe: The “real” housewives of New York are all aflutter about Luxe, the newest Midtown destination attracting ladies of leisure. Located in the front of (but not affiliated with) the Wingate Hotel and a bonnet toss from Macy’s, Luxe has a 70-seat garden patio tucked away in this garment district locale. Homey Italian dishes like the rack of baby lamb chops in Barolo add to the suburban vibe. The specialty at the bar is the Luxeatini (Idol vodka, Fragoli strawberry liqueur, Dark Godiva, and a touch of cream), or go for a bottle of wine from their extensive collection.
