Break-out cool cats entertain a sophisticated audience in Alphabet City. This place is quickly gaining momentum, and the cool factor is tipping the Richter scale. The friendly staff is good-looking and unusually helpful. There’s no official happy hour to speak of, but selected vino is reduced on a revolving roster. Soak up the nightly live music and atmosphere, but don’t get too out of control, as Hamasa (a pit bull) calls Louis 649 home. |
