Lodge: With all its kitschy charm, Lodge is one of the best newcomers to the crowded Grand Street corridor. The chandeliers are faux antlers and raw wood dominates the design, but there’s nothing too crunchy here. The menu is stocked with comfort food and the bar is just plain stocked. In addition to the copious canned beers, there are plenty of fancy cocktails for your guzzling pleasure as well as an oyster happy hour and plenty of drink specials throughout the night. So, until you’ve saved up for a country house of your very own, you should spend plenty of time at the Lodge. |
