Local: True to its name, Local aims to serve, well, locals. And it does just that by nailing down the simple things that keep people coming back: a clean and low-key décor, tons of happy hour specials, and a menu (think burgers, grilled cheese, and pastas) that’s simple and to the point. It gets busy after work, when crowds of 20-somethings roll through to check out each other and the seven plasma TVs pumping the game of the day. Wednesday through Saturday, when guest bartenders are mixing, it can get even more crowded. There’s outdoor seating if you want to escape the crowd, but if you’re a Local, you probably didn’t come to be alone. |
