Lea: Lining the massive wall behind Lea’s bar are dozens of bottles containing an exotic-looking, orange-ish liquid. One might think these bottles contain Lea’s signature drink—some sort of wild French booze that until recently was only served in Parisian discos and on the Concorde. Ask for it, though, and you will be told it is only there for show. And so it goes at Lea, where style is substance. From the waitresses and bartenders, who are gorgeous, to the (slightly weird) oil paintings hanging on the walls, and even to the immaculately arranged sushi plates, everything in Lea is there to please the eye. And for the young execs and would-be Mrs. Young Execs who party here, there’s nothing wrong with that. |
