Landmarc TWC: Fresh from a crushing defeat on Iron Chef America, NYC chef and restaurateur of the moment Marc Murphy has expanded his successful cadre of restaurants (Ditch Plains, Landmarc) to include a new location that’s actually—gasp!—above 14th Street. Occupying a monstrous 10,500-square-foot space in the futuristic Time Warner Center, this part-French, part-Italian restaurant serves up breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And there’s no rest for the weary here as the 300-seat joint is open 365 days per year, 7am-2am. We’re exhausted just thinking about it. If the tourists don’t destroy it first, you might find yourself raving about the fabulous wine list, drool-worthy food, high-gloss layout, and, perhaps most shocking, the reasonable prices—a combination almost as crazy as Bobby Flay and veggie burgers. |
