A love letter to all things from the land with Seoul, this small dining room of muted wood tones is bustling with connoisseurs of Asian cuisine and, yes, Asian booze. Try the $8 ginger kamikaze made with ginseng, giving Red Bull some competition. The dira is a cosmopolitan made with soju, a Korean vodka. And OB and Hit beers are in supply. On the menu are a range of lunch specials ($9 lunch boxes featuring fish, chicken, and vegetarian fare) as well as a sprawling selection of soups, dumplings, fish, and noodle dishes. Kori is named for its owner, who clearly had a vision for his restaurant. In a fickle neighborhood, Kori has found a lot of love. |
