Kinsale Tavern
Fancy yerself a pint, do ya? With so many Irish pubs on the island of Manhattan, it’s hard to know what’s legit, and what’s a cheap imitation. Kinsale Tavern, named for a town in Ireland’s County Cork, is as authentic as they get. Come on in for some rugby, some soccer, or a good Gaelic football match, and complete the experience with genuine Irish grub like Irish sausages, rashers (bacon), or fish ’n’ chips just like yer mam used to make. Even if Guinness doesn’t do it for you, something on the long beer list will. And if you wanna get pissed, mate, Kinsale’s staggering whiskey selection will help you along.

Sports + food

One of the only places (actually has the reputation of being the only place) where everyone is Irish (accent and all). Food is good, though very basic in terms of potatoes and meat kinda thing. Many screens for many different soccer games and other sports (mainly baseball and basketball).

Soccer

The best place in the city to catch a soccer game. Enough tables, screens, and surround sound. Great burgers and friendly waitresses. Recently, they added a brunch menu which makes it even more pleasant for the AM games.
