The second floor supposedly holds a cozy getaway, but sadly it’s perpetually under lock and key. (Are they stashing away leprechauns or what?) Ever popular with ex-pats, rumor has it that Irish tourists spend entire vacations here drinking Irish Car Bombs and discussing the taprooms back home. There are certainly some fine pubs in the Emerald Isle, but the friendly barkeeps at Killarney Rose have a real knack for doling out the Guinness and the Gaelic fare, which is probably why this drinkery has been prospering for over 38 years.
