K Lounge is all about love, Indian style. Red velvet drips from anything that stands still, pillows are strewn about for lounging, and statues set in Kama Sutra positions remind you what’s supposed to happen after drinking the jasmine- and ginger-infused cocktails that go down way too easily. If that’s not doing it for you, the looping Bollywood films and human-sized birdcage might give you something to get excited about. As will a finger food-friendly menu of samosas and kebabs perfect for feeding your date. The DJ spins everything from ’80s to pop to reggae and rap. There might even be some Sting thrown in to inspire all you lovebirds who have eight hours to spare.
