Jules Café: Duck confit on St. Marks Place? Is that even legal? Jules serves up yummy European-esque delights, but not to worry, they don’t come with a Eurotrash crowd on the side (well, not yet). Live jazz combined with a flirtatious crowd make Jules an East Village find. The casual setting and lovely wait staff is accommodating and amazingly free of the typical St. Marks frat boys and pierced parent-haters. A decent wine list is all the encouragement you’ll need to get let your hair down and raise a glass to this area’s glimpse of maturity. |
