Jazz Gallery: Though technically a museum, the Jazz Gallery features two sets of crazy jazz by hepcats each and every night. Jump on over to this “international jazz cultural center”; it’s the perfect place to take parents who need evidence of your ever-heightening sophistication or that older special someone you’ve been seeing on the side. Music buffs will appreciate the quality music and legendary grand pianos. But unless you’re Herbie Hancock, call ahead and make reservations because this bar/performance space fills up quick (though there’s always the option of becoming a member). Tickets will set you back a cool $15, but with the cost of a movie quickly approaching that price tag, what’s a few more rubes to experience some real culture? You don’t want to be a “square” now, do you? |
