Irish Pub: Broadway-bound tourists and after-workers mix with Irish lads and lasses at this literal “Irish Pub.” Selected scenes of the enchanting Emerald Isle line the walls while a few wee strains of lilting brogue can be heard amongst the crowd in the dim, dark wood-paneled bar. Like an old country favorite, the linear space is cozy and welcoming with sports on the TV screen and plenty of beer on the polished bar to satisfy the semi-youthful crowd who gathers after 5pm. Come St. Paddy’s Day, you’ll need your green, a bit o’ the blarney, and perhaps a four-leaf clover to push your way through the raucous holiday merrymakers. |
