I Tre Merli:
What’s Italian for “awful”? I Tre Merli may as well have golden arches with its fast food take on traditional cuisine. A classy spot in name only, this Italian bistro doesn’t do much to communicate the culture of the old country. The wine list looks promising at first, with an ethnic array of Chianti and Barrolo, but the conversation-drowning techno beats and ultra-modern interior make this place seem anything but “old world.” Outdoor seating is a welcome summertime option to hanging out on either of I Tre Merli’s indoor levels, but unlike Mickey D’s, “I’m Lovin’ It” certainly doesn’t apply here.
Hey Shecky's, just had a great meal down at ITM. Suggest you get back down there and review it again. Don't know if the reviewer was having a bad day but this seems unfair! Food, service and venue fantastic. Try it for yourself!

I really liked this place, and found the service attentive and informed. The up-beat music was well-chosen, and the cool interior was not your average mom-and-pop Italian restaurant boring. The food was delicious, especially the risotto with grapes, which sounds odd, but is worth a try.
