Houston's: Imagine an airport lounge with dimmed lights and upgraded seat cushions that replicate leather and you’ve got Houston’s; just substitute a colossally oversized circular bar for the information desk. Not that there’s anything wrong with it. The staff is friendly, and the drinks here are good and generously sized, especially if you order one of the house favorites: the Lemon Drop, margarita, or cosmopolitan. The menu has all the predictable items: burgers, salads, chips and dip, steak, a bunch of fried things, you know the score. Apparently, the owner grew up in Houston and liked it there…but he set up the restaurant chain here. Okay. Whatever you say. Check, please? |
