Horus Cafe:
Despite an extensive menu of mixed drinks, booze is not the main attraction at this laidback but hopping bar with over 40 flavors of hookah tobaccos ranging from double apple to piña colada. Wise patrons will forgo anything in a spill-able glass and pull up to one of the huge wooden chairs or a pillow on the floor next to the fireplace and toke on exotic tobaccos while savoring the flavor of a wood-smoked burger or kebab from the café’s cheap and tasty menu. A helpful staff stands by to assist the hookah-shy or inexperienced, and while you won’t get high on what you’re smoking, you will be on cloud nine from the awesome atmosphere and footage of belly dancers shakin’ what their mamas gave them on the projection screen.
I brought my brother and cousin here when they were here visiting from Sweden and we had such a great time the first night that we had to come back a second. We smoked hookah, drank, and enjoyed the belly dancing. The only bad thing I can think of is that it gets very loud and its hard to have a conversation with whomever you are with.
