Hope Lounge: If you’re a lonely Craigslist refugee stuck living as a pariah in hipster-littered Williamsburg, your hangout has arrived. Depending on the night you go, it can be packed or empty, and that's just what we love. From the sexy people to the clean-cut types (plus celeb sightings), this spot welcomes all. The minimal decor is sexy in burgundy and there's a Buddha-like statue that sits perched on the wall near the bathrooms, which are suprisingly clean (plus they are roomy and have mirrors for primping, since you never know who will be there when you get out). Happy hour rules with $2 off well drinks and $3 pints, and since it's from 3pm-8pm, you can go after work and have dinner there too (burgers are five bucks)! Depending on the night, there's live music and guest DJs. Plus in the warmer weather, the outdoor patio is the place to be. With so many bars opening in the area, many of them are lacking, but at Hope, there is hope yet! |
