Despite its glossy interior, HK’s location is a major downer, unless you like prowling around the Port Authority building on your way to dinner. But, if you don't mind stepping over a few hobos, you may just find yourself a new favorite spot. HK is a great place to stop in for drinks or snacks after picking over the junk at the 39th St. flea market. (Although maybe that's a bit dirtass.) It's even conceivable to hike over here after you've hit up a Broadway show. (OK, that's maybe a bit touristy.) You'll find great food and foxy crowds in a place that’s not obnoxiously trendy. Hell, with drinks like cosmotinis and pineapple martinis, who the crap needs pretension? With a half price happy hour from 4pm to 7:30pm as well as 11pm to 12:30am, you may just become a regular.
