Hi-Life Bar & Grill: The neon martini glass outside goes nicely with the Yankees shirt behind the bar, the one with the martini glass in between the “NY.” This sushi bar/restaurant is more lounge than either of those things, though one has to sell something in order to justify people lounging in their establishment. It’s easy to deduce that they sell an impressive variety of martinis, and the old-school shiny fish tank at the entrance tips you off to the seafood. Throw some red meat in the mix and sushi nights on top of that, and you can now feel free to soak up the cool. The Rat Pack probably didn’t hang here, but they would have. |
