Heartland Brewery - South Street Seaport: About as edgy as adding raisins to your oatmeal, Heartland Brewery is the grand dame of generic white-bread hangouts—but there’s something about this big lug that makes it much easier to swallow than your equally white-bread Young Republican cousin. That “something” is the beer, which is brewed right here. The Voyage of Beer is five classics for $10, and the $13 Seasonal Platter tacks on three more specialty ales.
