Hanratty’s Restaurant:
In a city where the bar nut is on the verge of extinction, it’s always a pleasant surprise when a bartender sets down a few bowls of complimentary munchies. Chex Mix is the house hospitality snack at Hanratty’s Restaurant, a pleasant neighborhood spot with a standard pub menu and solid happy hour deals. Yet despite the $3.50 price tag on drafts and house wines during happy hour from 4pm to 7pm, you won’t find many young patrons here. Regulars tend to be on the older side; with its grandfather clock hanging on the wall and old-fashioned, small black and white tile in the dining room, Hanratty’s may invoke memories of eating out with your grandparents when you were a kid.
Dinner without interruptions. There is only one t.v. in the whole restaurant. The wine bar serves other alcoholic beverages, and is very quiet atmosphere.
