Gypsy Tea:
Another red rope in the Flatiron District where you can wait on line under the cafeteria-like warming lights. Sigh. Inside Gypsy Tea you won’t have much light to notice, but the club’s aesthetics are cushy and the multi-environment layout stretches the attention span. The center dancing area is bordered with glitzy hanging curtains in waves above and filled with booths for bottle service. Savory ladies perform their finest dance moves after tapping the bottles, or in an attempt to tap into them. But though it’s oh-so-B&T-chic by weekend, the beautifully designed Gypsy morphs to fag-ulous many a Sunday night/Monday morning for the notably more interesting New York party Asseteria.
