Grace: The key word at Grace is “polished.” From the elegant hammered-tin ceiling, to the gleaming blood-red walls, to the bar’s well-appointed patrons, Grace more than lives up to its name. The long stretch of a bar takes the pain out of attracting the bartender’s attention during peak hours and the leisurely rotating double-blade fans emit a sense of calm over the crowd. The drink list is nothing special and the run-of-the-mill bar food won’t win raves, but Grace’s cultured, 30-something pick-up crowd knows the bar’s beautiful but unpretentious atmosphere more than makes up for any of its shortcomings. |
