Gold St.: Say what you want, but the ghost-town-like scene that is the Financial District after 8pm is a little on the bland side. Luckily, if you find yourself somehow stuck on Wall Street at 3am, you can now rest assured that you’ll have proper food and drink at Gold St. Sure, this venue is a little on the “diner-y” side, but it’s tough to argue with a 24-hour eatery that comes equipped with a fully stocked bar, sushi bar, and surprisingly tasty menu. Expect a crowd made up mostly of stressed-out brokers and local drunks just getting home from an “uptown” night out. Most might view this as a problem, but in this neck of the woods any type of life is welcome after the Exchange closes. |
