George Keeley: Is there anything special about George Keeley’s? Not particularly, but who needs it when you’re young and on the town and want to get drunk, play darts, and flirt with college girls? This small, narrow Irish pub has plenty on draft, TVs over the bar, and Golden Tee and darts in the back. Benches run across the wall behind the barstools, for those late-night “conversations.” Got the munchies? Popcorn is served gratis at the bar, and for a few bucks you can get something fried. There aren’t too many bells and whistles here, but they do have the occasional live band and host an open mic on Tuesday nights. |
