Fred’s: No riffraff, no prima donnas, just regular ol’ folks here at Fred’s. If you feel like bringing in a snap shot of your mongrel, they just might hang it on the wall next to the other 500 canine photos that overlook this place. You may see a photo of local legend Frederica, but she wouldn’t have seen you—this black lab, who flunked out of seeing eye dog school, is about as close as Fred’s gets to celebrity stories. Ask the locals about her and they’ll gladly tell you some stories over complimentary fish-shaped cheese crackers.
