Folks come out to this champagne bar to celebrate by popping corks and wearing out the magnetic strips on their AmEx gold cards. The all-weather yellow umbrellas and doorman may intimidate those without a trust fund or a hot chick, but inside the low-ceilinged main floor creates an intimate environment that encourages PDAs, which is helped by the bubbly too. A reservation-friendly nook hints at a theme with Spanish architecture; the feel continues via sculptures and Picasso-inspired artwork. The low banquettes and distinct areas keep the room from feeling cramped, and a lounge downstairs aids as well. As you’re splurging on the champagne selection consider throwing a bit more at haughty treats for the tummy, like caviar and fancy chocolates. A second location is in Midtown.
A New York Legend. We had such a wonderfull time and it has now become our weekly headquarters to have a good times.Amazing wine list, superbs cocktails. Nice and sexy staff. Fab DJ's. You have got to check that place out. Greg
