Five Napkin Burger: No need to “supersize” here—if you’re still hungry after downing the signature 10-oz. burger with comté cheese, carmelized onions, and rosemary aioli, then perhaps you should consider a career in competitive eating. So popular at chef Andy D’Amico’s Nice Matin on the Upper West Side, the owners decided that the Five Napkin Burger was worthy of its own restaurant. The burger selection includes a rarebit burger with white cheddar and bacon, an ahi tuna burger with ginger and wasabi mayo, and a lamb kofta burger with green tahini sauce. The mostly meat-tastic menu also features a burger salad, broiled cowboy steak, and smoked pork rip chop. Options are aplenty for washing the protein down—milkshakes, wine, a large bourbon selection, or a house cocktail. And don’t even get us started on dessert—we’ve gone through five napkins already. |
