The mermaids, fish, and other ocean-oriented bric-a-brac adorning the walls come from customers who picked them up all over the globe, though you’re more likely to find an older local tucked away in a corner reading a book than a yellow-slicker-clad fisherman. Super-laid-back, no-nonsense, and cash only, Fish Bar is the perfect place to down $3 PBRs while weathering out a storm with a group of friends. Get in good with the bartender—as the night progresses he just may let you throw your iPod onto the stereo. Some Phish, perhaps?
