This is the Upper West Side, people. During the purgatory between the end of happy hour and the beginning of real bar hours, there is often a child in the joint, making siren noises with his toy fire engine. The only thing especially hot about this joint is the food. These proprietors claim the $7.50 steakadilla is famous, the $7.95 chili is special, and the $2.95 fries are sexy. While we agree they are pretty awesome, it’s the spiced-up wings and solid beer selection that keep locals loyal as Dalmatians. |
