Can't get sports bars out of your system but don't want to hang with legions of dudes in Jeter jerseys? Try watching the next big game at Firefly, where ten sweeping HD screens ensure you don't miss a play. Toss in some cushy leather banquettes, and there's no fear of falling off a barstool while cheering. Dim lighting and a friendly wait staff make the space more urban-hip than frat-tastic. It's open til 4am, so stay post-game to enjoy the late-night lounge with live DJs and a varied selection of tapas-like bites. This place gets a little too posh with the bottle service, but stick with beer and you're bound to feel like the M.V.P.
I wish I was able to report from the inside, but I couldn't get in because I was wearing sandles. That's fine, althogh it's the first time I've ever heard of a "sports bar" that gave a crap about that.
But still it wouldn't have been a big deal if the bouncer wasn't a complete jerk about it. He wouldn't even let me in to grab my friend. I'd imagine his piss poor, condescending attitude is mirrored by the staff inside. What a joke.

This place SUCKS big time. they have no crowd which is good b/c it's empty but their happy hour includes 1 white wine, NO red & 2 beers, not good ones.
The food SUCKS! Buffalo bites were in tempura batter (!?!), the pulled pork was cold & flavorless, the spinach dip was served COLD, who ever heard of cold spinach dip?!
The management had no desire to listen on how to make things better (i.e. WHAT CUSTOMERS ACTUALLY WANT IN A BAR!) & ended up being very rude.
I heard they actually kicked out 2 Spanish patrons who were spending good $ & entertaining the bartender b/c "that's not the crowd they want there"
Who would want to go back to this place?!?!?!?!?

We reserved an area in this bar for a large party of 40 people. They only gave us two small corner tables and standing bar room only. The management was extremely rude and unwilling to accommodate us. I will never go back and strongly discourage anyone from hosting a party at this bar. We have hosted many business parties in the past and have never been so disappointed or angry with the service and treatment we received as at Firefly Bar and Grill.
