Earl’s: Trailer trash is such a non-PC term these days, don’t you agree? We do, especially when saying that means you can’t enjoy the kitschy bar that is Earl’s. This Murray Hill hotspot offers up yummy comfort food like slow-smoked ribs, blackened chicken and fish, and burgers. And you can take in all that from great sidewalk seating. But what you should really come here for are the specialty drinks. Start off light with the Southern Hurricane (Southern Comfort on the rocks), or suck down a glass of Earl’s Spiked Lemonade, made with Jack Daniels. The monster of all drinks, though, is Bubba’s Back Porch Iced Tea—it’s so strong there’s a limit of two per person. Now that’s what living in a trailer is all about. |
