The super-friendly, laid-back wait staff of this former-Laundromat-turned-English pub (from bubbles to bubble and squeak?) is bloody accommodating. In fact, there might be more English ale selections here than there are across the pond. Better dentistry, well.... There are still plenty of ex-pats, who loiter about shouting “Bollocks!” while tossing back sophisticated beer like Marstons Pedigree. The handsome dark furniture exudes a relaxed, homey vibe and everyone’s happy to talk to a Yank. Just please don’t ask them if they know Posh and Becks.
