Dram Shop: Every neighborhood needs a rec room, and now Park Slope’s got theirs. Dram Shop serves up shuffleboard, darts, Scrabble, and even an extensive whiskey menu. Thankfully, the owners did not assemble a staff made up of nonworking actor brats—these friendly people actually work hard for their tips. The beer selection is well-rounded with 12 on tap, and the menu (burgers, nachos, tostadas, etc.) is a notch above standard bar food. If you’re bored by the bookish neighborhood crowd, check out the pool table. Chilling at Dram Shop feels like hanging out at your best friend’s house—just don’t expect to crash on the couch at the end of the night. |
