Doc Watson’s
Put on your scally cap and grab your bodhran. Live traditional Irish music awaits you every Sunday night at Doc Watson’s, where some of the best fish and chips on the Upper East Side draw neighborhood patrons young and old. Stoic Irish bartenders add authenticity to this pub, where Tiffany-style lamps line the long and narrow bar room and a small dining area in the back. Get a dollar off your drinks during happy hour Monday through Friday. Music, well-poured Guinness, and superior bar food make Doc’s one of uptown’s better pubs for a pint.

Just terrible...

The food is no good, the tap lines are dirty and the beer tastes skunked, and the few times I have been dragged here it was just an awful experience...
