Diva: Diva is very much like Valerie from the dearly departed “Beverly Hills 90210” (oh, how we miss you—completely dramatic and over the top, and just not as popular as the rest of the gang. Sure, she started off strong, and no one can deny she’s fun to watch, but nowadays that doesn’t make her the star of the show. With Diva’s fiery red drapes, iron mirrors, and candle holders, it’s a bar that will undoubtedly leave an impression…just not necessarily a great one. Diva does provide six or seven cornered-off spaces for dining on one side of the bar, but the aggressively bright cushions adorning the alcoves sort of ruin that “dinner for two” vibe, and the occasional skull & bones designs scattered throughout don’t help either. |
