Walk too fast and you might pass right by this place. And that would be a shame—this cozy spot nestled right off the corner of Ninth Avenue is as welcoming as your own living room, but a whole lot more colorful. Choose between the spacey outdoor patio, which might even be bigger than your living room, or drink and nosh indoors. The relaxed front room is surrounded by exposed brick and decorated with hanging glass tulip bulbs and a candy-colored Lucite bar. A long and creative martini list awaits—try a mint cosmo or chocolate strawberry version, but not before you indulge in the house specialties, “sensual” white or “tantric” red sangrias, all of which are half-price during the daily 5pm-8pm happy hour. Want another reason to be happy? ’disiac has nightly fondue specials.
