Dead Poet: All you bookworms can revel in literary glory here and reminisce about that “killer” Whitman paper you wrote in college. The menu, aka the “Book of Verse,” has an interesting array of specialty beers and cocktails with names reminiscent of how you memorized literary figures for exams back in the day: Dead Guy Ale and Arrogant Bastard Ale, etc. If you have the same birthday as one of the literary figures that month, you drink for free. Also, you can make your folks proud by drinking a cumulative 100 pints to earn a spot for your name on the Guinness Wall of Fame. Such an honor will prove about as useful as a B.A. in English, but with more bragging rights. Happy hour is from 4pm-8pm, Monday-Friday. |
